Day 1 – Kampala/Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
Begin your Uganda safari with a scenic journey west toward Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, eland and other wildlife before your overnight stay.
Day 2 – Lake Mburo Wildlife & Transfer to Bwindi
Enjoy a morning game drive or optional nature walk before continuing toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Travel through southwestern Uganda’s beautiful countryside, rolling hills and local communities.
Day 3 – Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Spend the day exploring Bwindi’s ancient rainforest on a guided mountain gorilla trekking experience. After locating your assigned gorilla family, return to your lodge and relax after this unforgettable forest adventure.
Day 4 – Bwindi Forest & Batwa Cultural Experience

Day 5 – Bwindi to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Day 6 – Mgahinga Gorilla Trekking Experience
Explore Mgahinga’s ancient montane forest during a guided gorilla trekking experience. Search for a habituated gorilla family while enjoying the unique biodiversity and volcanic scenery of Uganda’s smallest national park.
Day 7 – Mgahinga Golden Monkey & Batwa Experience
Enjoy a golden monkey tracking experience or explore the cultural heritage of the Batwa communities. The day provides another opportunity to discover Mgahinga’s remarkable primates, forests and mountain environment.
Day 8 – Mgahinga to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart Mgahinga and travel north toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey through southwestern Uganda before an afternoon game drive when conditions and timing permit.
Day 9 – Queen Elizabeth Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise
Start with an early morning game drive to search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kob and other wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a Kazinga Channel boat cruise with opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds.
Day 10 – Queen Elizabeth to Kibale Forest National Park
Travel toward Kibale Forest National Park, passing through crater landscapes and beautiful western Uganda scenery. Arrive at your lodge and prepare for the following day’s chimpanzee adventure.
Day 11 – Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland

Day 12 – Kibale to Kampala/Entebbe
